4th Annual State of the Green Economy

The "greening" of different industries will force many businesses to adapt and diversify. Get an update on the Green Economy as we host a discussion of some of the opportunities, advancements, and challenges happening locally in the Clean Tech industry.

Jeff D. Heggedahl, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ecova
Hear from Ecova’s CEO about the company’s growth and expansion in the total energy and sustainability management market. With a focus on helping clients improve efficiencies and lower expenses, Ecova works across the energy, water, waste, telecom, lease and carbon management categories.

Representative Andy Billig, 3rd District Spokane
Representative Billig will be speaking on his prime sponsorship of House Bill HB 2422 on sustainable aviation biofuels production,  Innovate Washington and its new state-wide mission, and the economic benefit of a clean Spokane River.

Hal Calbom, Principal at Hal Calbom Communications and Executive Producer at Evergreen Films
Hal recently returned from touring China with the Washington Clean Tech Alliance and a number of Washington State clean technology businesses.  He will offer his thoughts and impressions in a presentation titled The Tao of Green: Clean Tech in China, a helpful tool for local companies considering entrance into the China market.
